A house-shaped “stylized”

In Portugal, the architects Manuel Aires Mateus oversaw the construction of this house certainly unusual and very familiar with.

If they had asked a child to draw a house, would not emerge in fact no different: the shape of this house is indeed sufficiently “stylized” to resemble the classic and standardized collective imagination since childhood, as a ‘everywhere recognizable icon.

However, the absolute white and the absence of windows (light only from a large opening on the roof and identifiable as opening the door) at odds with this idea of ??family home, so that is even more stylized (if Monopoly foresaw ” white houses “would look like this … I assume).

The interiors reflect the search for formal purity and simplicity of the exterior: there is no superfluous elements and the perception of space is expanded as much as possible.
