Accordion Cabinet, mobile flexible Elisa Strozyk

The Berlin- Elisa Strozyk continues to experiment with new ways to use wood and make it into a surprisingly soft and manipulated. After the collection Wooden Textiles, In which pieces of wood are sewn on fabric, a similar process has led to the creation of designer furnishings as Accordion Cabinet.

Designed and made in collaboration with the artist Sebastian NeebeThis belief is shaped like an accordion, assembled from strips of different kinds of wood bent and then sewn onto a cloth wrapped around the frame of the cabinet. The result is a piece of furniture suspended in time, between traditional forms and modern techniques.
