That’s one of the masters of Nordic design, Arne Jacobsen, Is the hand that designed the Swan chair by the mark Fritz Hansen the lobby and common areas at the Royal Hotel in Copenhagen in 1958. This piece comes from a prototype design by Jacobsen kept in the garage of his home in Klampenborg, north of Copenhagen and was then put into production at Fritz Hansen since.
