Cot Magis by Marc Newson, the designer in the world of children

Bunky is the name of a cot brought by the Italian company Magis catalog for 2011. E ‘was presented at the last Salone del Mobile in Milan in the Me Too collection, the project that Magis is driving with great success in the design world of children . Bunky is a concept of the great Australian designer based in London, Marc Newson . This is the project of a bunk bed assembled from only four pieces and made ??of polyethylene by rotational molding. A tough subject for a safe sleep environment and a children’s play. The rounded and modern they do look like a space capsule, which child would not want to jump on!

Bunky Magis is a completely modular, even indefinitely, and can be easily assembled from four individual elements : two beds and two banks. Then c ‘is also a ladder , finally comfortable to be naked to climb on foot.

All surfaces of the bed is smooth without sharp edges and the material is highly durable and easy to
clean , the holes can make it under the mattress ventilation.

Bunky is also available as a double single . Bunky was designed in shades of blue and white, to instil calm and sleep. Likely to be available later in other colors
