Duplex penthouse in New York, connected with a steel slide

It is not the first time we talk about slides created specifically to make fun and fast descent from one floor to anotherBut perhaps one of the few times that such an installation is requested for residential housing.

The owner of this duplex penthouse on East Village of New York asked the architects of the study Turek Collaborative Architects to link playful but elegant enough for the two levels of his house.

So the architects of the TCA have created this slide steel spiral that integrates seamlessly into contemporary style of furniture you choose, which also includes classic pieces of design, but in any case, there is also a traditional staircase, so obviously the climb to the top more, or a descent “normal.”
