“E-lastic Table”: the modernist table by Timothy Schreiber

Will be presented at next Salone del Mobile in Milan and we are curious to see live this “E-lastic Table” by designer Timothy Schreiber . A sort of twisted tree in the structure that supports the shelf, sinuous lines and basic colors (red, black, white). The style – recognizable – is the ‘trademark’ that gave birth to his famous chaise longue “Morphogenesis” and at the table “E-Volved for FueraDentro .

In line with its manifesto “pop modernism”, the new creation of Schreiber brings forward the spirit of the second generation of modernist designers and those that raged in the ’60s and ’70s. Inspired by the work of Eero Saarinen and Verner Panton , Schreiber optimism reflected the zeitgeist of that era in digital design and production techniques of the twenty-first century.
