Staffan Tollgard Design Group took a typical terraced house, and transformed it into a multi-functional urban interior design which roll “live,” “work” and “play” into one. On the main floor, this open concept house plan actually has just one door, closing off the cloakroom. The hub of this home is the kitchen; a space designed for living and entertaining which opens onto the garden via three-meter-wide sliding glass doors. Man-made and natural materials come together in a mix of touchable textures and rich patterns which leads you through the home’s social spaces. Although in the city, the natural house design boasts earthy elements like exposed stone walls and wood to keep it connected to nature. Upstairs, the private spaces are a haven for retreat and relaxation, where elegant interiors create an ambience of peace and quiet in this busy urban house plan.
