Exhibition design Matali Crasset the cuttings and Vincent Breed

It’s all inspired by the nature of the new project conceived and designed by Matali Crasset and Vincent Breed : her designer French internationally renowned glass artist’s great personal blow that for years in some valuable editions and small series in cooperation with many famous artists and architects. The result is an exhibition staged in sensational Granville gallery in Paris and wants to investigate one of the most fascinating and mysterious processes of reproduction of the plant world: the propagation by cuttings.

The collaboration between the French designer Matali Crasset and the glass artist Vincent Breed was born an original project and mysterious at the same time now on display at the Granville gallery in Paris.

Real protagonist is the nature of the project and, in particular the fascinating process of reproduction of the plant world called the propagation by cuttings.

The result is an exhibition that wants to unravel the process and the generative stages of the beautiful artifacts on display in all their different stages. Arranged on long tables , vases mysterious textures, called cuttings, not only bring the trail of a sophisticated but SBM reveal their bill in the proceedings even more mysterious.

The cast consists of generator with the wooden material chosen, it becomes a mysterious sculpture to show off as a genuine relic of the natural occurrence of the tree through which the breath of the glassblower it solidifies the imperfection of the cortex.
