Foliage of ramifications on the couch and Patrticia Urquiola Kartell

At the Salone del Mobile in Milan 2011, the Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola presented to Kartell a sofa padded with a plastic frame. The name Foliage due to the fact that the design is reminiscent of the characteristics ramifications of a tree in a dialogue between the natural and artificial foliage in an object that looks as if it just grew naturally in plastic. In practice, the leaves form a crown that rests on a framework of branches that form the seat. A sofa seat with a great personality with top-embroidery made with four legs round: warm and soft, offers two convenient locations.
