The exhibition presents approximately one hundred objects , including some who now belong to other private collectors.

Through its simplicity, rigor and meditative silence, the design of the exhibition allows these objects impervious to speak : ” I figured Jacques kerchache arrived for the first time in Benin, with some idea of the subject, but no direct experience. Perhaps the first thing he saw was the larger pieces, standing in front of the houses of a village. Then he would talk to someone, heard some stories, he found more items. Similarly, visitors to this exhibition, they will discover objects more secrets. “says Enzo Mari.

The designer, who recently published an autobiography, he had the find everything to make contact with during a trip to Voodoo in the 90s and witnessed scenes of ecstasy and sacrifice.
