It is titled The Modernist Home: Brazilian and Scandinavian Experience and is the ‘ event promoted by Brazilian Modern dell’imperdibile appointment at the Fuori Salone 2011 ! We are talking about a show that aims to investigate the similarities and differences in the philosophy of living according to the modern point of view of the 50s and 60s to both countries from very different socio demographic: Brazil and Scandinavia. The event hosted 12 to 17 April 2011 at a private home spaces on a 26 Morisset, Milan.
The Modernist Home: Brazilian and Scandinavian Experience is the first stage of a project born from the creativity of Cinzia Ferrara and Monika Unger . This is a show that wants to compare two very different cultures , one Brazilian and Scandinavian.
The result is an exhibition of objects, unique and authentic, many of the author, who decorate the interior rooms of a Milan, a home via private Morimondo 26, Zona Tortona . A particularly interesting result is this decision to decorate and open to the public a common dwelling and not a public place allowing a better contextualization of the collection.
Not the first time we hear the name of Cinzia Ferrara and Monika Unger in combination with the Fuori Salone in Milan : the last edition have in fact managed the collection of Modern Brazilian now on display at the showroom in Via Pestalozzi 10 in Milan.
