The catalog Kartell adds a new piece to his collection of furniture, bedside table and console Ghost Buster. These are the words of its designer, Philippe Starck “For years I want a nice chest of drawers and a nice table for me. I’ve never found. To console me, I created an image evocative of a ghost all the dresser that perhaps existed but that I have ever come across. A small thing, invisible, but it is absolutely necessary for our simple daily life. ”

This time, Philippe Starck has adopted a style that evokes the lines of classic furniture, but with a contemporary focus in its transparency and plastic, typical of Kartell.

Angles and curves, straight lines and sinuous playing surfaces to create an object, smooth and elegant. Alternating solids and voids in one piece without interruption.

The console is designed with three open shelves on four front legs, this is a monoblock which is the largest ever in the world of plastic and is therefore a source of pride for the Italian brand. A version night table: a small square cube supported by four legs.

The transparency makes ethereal, almost like ghosts, as the name implies. Built in typical plastic Kartell as the “big brother”, also Small Ghost Buster plays with the reflections and prospects that the alternation of sharp bends and create the entire surface. An iridescent ghost that can be placed in any corner of the house.
