From 8 December until 8 January 2011 in Rome, the scene is the big event Invicolo Xmas , an important event with art, fashion and design created by Secondome Editions under the artistic direction of Claudia Pignatale. It is a event that takes place in various open spaces in the capital and whose protagonists installations , video projections and sculptures of light coming out for the occasion by most institutions to invade the streets and squares of Rome.
It’s called Invicolo Xmas and it is the ‘ event hosted in Rome by ‘December 8 until January 8, 2011. A real appointment with the ‘ art , fashion and design , where the protagonist is the light .
This is why architectural art installations and video projections created and designed by great artists invade the capital and illuminate the streets and squares always attracted tourists and Romans.
It is a sort of journey in stages starting in Piazza Pasquino, continue along Via del Governo Vecchio and then along Via dei Banchi new and old benches and finally get to Piazza Capodiferro. A trail that winds through the streets and therefore parallel roads to the famous and busy Corso Vittorio Emanuele.
To welcome visitors or passers-there are installations and video projections on the facades of historic buildings designed by four great artists on the international scene: French Pascal Lievre, the Finnish Charles Sandison, Fabrica’s artists and Andrea Salvetti .
