Missing just over a year to the London Olympics in 2012 and recently was presented the Olympic torch that will travel 8000 miles on British soil and then turn on the brazier at the Olympic Stadium on July 27, 2012. The torch was designed by the duo of designer British Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby and is characterized by a unique triangular shape. Given the true icon of the Olympic Games, the torch of London 2012 will leave May 19, 2012 for a relay race which will see the alternation of 8,000 torchbearers!

The torch is characterized by a triangular shape and is made of aluminum, gold features 8000 holes on its surface that allow you to see the flame facilitating cooling.
