Salone del Mobile 2011

Waiting for the next edition of the highly anticipated and Salone Internazionale del Mobile di Milano 2011 are an increasing number of initiatives and the many rumors events planning for this important event. If the show itself will have to wait until AprilMany are the initiatives and events program in recent months to begin to celebrate 50 years of the show. For a birthday so special because you can not wait for that great celebration!

Only recently we told you about the great event, which continues until 8 January 2011, with Milan Salons in New York but also the Lombard capital prepares to celebrate 50 years of the International Furniture Fair with a dense and interesting calendar of appointments and events.

The first appointment is in February with Making the improbable, the design in Milan: influences and perspectivesA theater which will be performed at the Piccolo Teatro Studio, which builds on the creativity of teachers and entrepreneurs of the past and look to the future.

Another major initiative will focus on the fourth edition of the Design Museum dedicated by Triennale di Milano to Salone del Mobile: 50 years of furniture, lighting, furniture and textiles that have entered the homes and offices of Italian.

Cathedral Square will be transformed instead into a real stage for PrincipiaA shows on the house of the future with eight rooms furnished with advanced technology designed by Denis Santachiara in collaboration with artists, designers and scientists.
