Sofas Meritalia: More Modular Ice by Vittorio Prato

More Ice is the name of a system of sofas designed to Meritalia. Formally very simple, using established techniques and made sure the base of the project dates back to an idea already formally defined with the “Iceberg” by designer Vittorio Prato. It was already an innovative product at the time of presentation, but now enhanced by other technical elements and formal enough to change the name that suggests the affection of his predecessor.

The great thing is that with a few Ice More catalog items lends itself as a “system” to become, to many compositions to indulge in the simplest way possible any use in any kind of space. Dimensionally it is defined by a form base of eight inches, as a measure applicant has a multiple, to 24 cm, which defines the modularity.

Thanks to the production method that uses a few basic elements of this system is a highly industrial Meritalia and highly available for any type of compositional evolution. The extreme ease of composition and is homologous to the ease of cover removal.

Vittorio Prato was born in 1946 and since 1965 he worked with other designers in the design and interior architecture.
