Still light, the Danish design on display at Tortona Design Week

It’s called Still light the exhibition on Danish design that Fuorisalone of Tortona Design Week kicks off at the Danish Design Centre, in a workshop in Via Tortona 31, between April 17 and 12 h. 10.00 to 19.00. Will be presented an installation consisting of 100 lamps were arranged as a suspension of pendants. In collaboration with Denmark’s most popular brands of the moment, as Muuto, Gubi, Normann Copenhagen, Louis Poulsen, Le Klint, Holmegaard, Verpan, Nemo Cassina, Luceplan, GamFratesi, KiBiSi and many others. A press preview is scheduled for April 11, from 15 to 19.

Visitors to the exhibition of Fuorisalone are invited to experience a lighting system that has the pending Danish products from 19 companies and 52 designers.

These pendants are vivid examples of Danish design and demonstrate a diversity of shapes, materials and new sources of sustainable enviable light.

The lights are presented in a lightscape bright showcase of design that goes hand-made lampshades from the production of high-tech rubber. As the natural light is dim and soft in Scandinavia, the lightning design has always fascinated the designers of the North and each device can tell a story about how artificial light has contributed to our homes and helped orchestrate the ‘interaction design with the ‘architecture.
