It’s called Still light the exhibition on Danish design that Fuorisalone of Tortona Design Week kicks off at the Danish Design Centre, in a workshop in Via Tortona 31, between April 17 and 12 h. 10.00 to 19.00. Visitors to the exhibition of Fuorisalone are invited to experience a lighting system that has the pending Danish products from 19 companies and 52 designers.
These pendants are vivid examples of Danish design and demonstrate a diversity of shapes, materials and new sources of sustainable enviable light.
The lights are presented in a lightscape bright showcase of design that goes hand-made lampshades from the production of high-tech rubber. As the natural light is dim and soft in Scandinavia, the lightning design has always fascinated the designers of the North and each device can tell a story about how artificial light has contributed to our homes and helped orchestrate the ‘interaction design with the ‘architecture.
