Susan Kare is practically a living legend. Since 1983, the San Francisco designer has designed thousands of software icons that became familiar to anyone who uses a computer. Working on a pixel grid and building images with pinpoint precision, similar to the one that needs a mosaic, was able to help create an iconography that communicates computing functions in an immediate and easily recognizable.
