The Copenhagen Chair of Alvaro Uribe

Born in Miami but grew up in Bogota and is currently based in New York, Alvaro Uribe is a designer whose work has always been a very careful eye toward the sculpture. His “Copenhagen Chair” is its most evident and will be fitted in the ranks of chairs with no seams in evidence that are based on only three legs. Smooth as steel, but made of beech wood and oak veneer, is characterized by a shape that enhances the lines moving.

“Sensual, dynamic and modern, with the aim of bringing the energy back into space, the chair flows naturally, reflecting the beauty of the material and craftsmanship employed to achieve it” is how he describes Uribe. We can really difficult to find a better definition.
