The festival not only gave impetus to trade, but ushered in new trends in design and witnessed the birth and spread of a style and modern architecture which today are celebrated and replicated by many.
Mini Moderns, The line of textiles and wallpaper launched by Keith Stephenson and Mark Hampshire Agency Absolute Zero Degrees, Launches a line for the occasion called just wallpaper Festival, Which incorporates the geometric patterns and stylized architecture designed for the occasion, such as the Royal Festival Hall.
They said the two creative: “We have collected memorabilia of the Festival of Britain for over 20 years. This anniversary has given us the perfect opportunity to create our own personal homage to a piece of the history of British design that had a decisive influence on our style. “
