Axel Vervoordt is a collector of antiques and interior designer breed. One, to be understood that in decades of career he has furnished the homes of the likes of Sting and Bill Gates. And who could afford just about anything, in terms of both luxury of eccentricity.
But not at home, that of Antwerp. Here, Vervoordt has oriented its research towards minimalism no stranger to small touches of decor, but especially keen to celebrate the beauty of the simplest objects of the domestic scene. For the monumental pieces, in fact, have been preferred small baskets, cups and dead branches, enhancing, according to the dictates of philosophy of Wabi Sabi, the harmony of the objects in their most simple and pure. Beautiful palette of colors, all set in shades of taupe, which is accompanied with salvaged wood, here used to visually scan the room.
