Wooden table and chair by Inga Sempé

It’s called Österlen and is the newest project designed by internationally renowned designers Inga Sempé. We’re talking about two new pieces designed by French designer for the Swedish brand Gärsnäs that will be presented at the important meeting with Stockholm Furniture Fair 2011, the design fair in Stockholm from 8 to 12 February. This is a table and chair wood design as simple as it looked!

The Swedish company has chosen Gärsnäs missed appointment with the Stockholm Design Week to present to the audience the new collection signed by none other than that of the famous French designer Inga Sempé.

The new project is called Österlen and takes its name from the south-eastern Sweden. It is a table and a chair made of natural wood ash characterized by a design very clean, ideal for decorating any room with style and simplicity.

The table, with a square base, its width is 70 × 70 cm and 73 cm high.

The real peculiarity of this collection lies in the processing of the legs and back of the chair embellished with carvings of delicate but effective wood. The result is a simple yet sophisticated collection features traditional forms and materials manufactured in an original and innovative.
